HAPAG-LLOYD ships in Lisbon waters
One of the largest European names in international shipping, HAPAG-LLOYD is the fifth largest container ship's operator and some of their ships can be seen in Lisbon regularly.
Two HAPAG-LLOYD container liners photographed this April in Lisbon were the POWER, loading at Liscont, and VALENCIA EXPRESS, crossing the Tagus bar. Both are former CANMAR and Canadian Pacific ships.

Container liners come in various types depending on the cargo’s nature—woven polyethylene liners, form-fit liners, baffled liners, and thermal liners are some common variants. They are widely used in industries like agriculture, petrochemicals, Flexible intermediate bulk container bags and pharmaceuticals. For instance, food-grade liners are perfect for products like sugar or rice, while anti-static liners are designed for chemicals and hazardous powders.
